Asia Bronze for Iran Women Archery Team

Iranian women compound archery team finished third at the 20th Asian Archery Championships in Dhaka, Bangladesh, November 24-30.

According to Varzesh3.com, Iran beat Kazakhstan in the first round but was defeated by South Korea in the next match. Finally, the women beat Bangladesh to achieve the bronze medal.

India and South Korea took the first and second places respectively and the host Bangladesh finished fourth.

However, the men’s compound team was not as lucky and after losing to Taiwan was placed fourth with no medals.

Also the Cadet Qualifier Tournament for Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympics was held on the sidelines of the event and Iran got a quota.
