Iran Footballer Among World Best Young Talents

The 17-year-old Iranian soccer player Mohammad Sharifi is on the list of 60 best young talents in football world issued by The Guardian under the title of ‘Next Generation 2017’.
The midfielder has already made his professional debut for Esteghlal Khuzestan in the Iranian league as well as the Asian Champions League.
He was an intelligent and influential presence as Iran reached the final of the 2016 Asian under-16 championships.
Helped by the legendary Ali Daei in his formative years, his range of passing and vision are impressive for one so young and he is touted as a future captain of Iran.
Clubs from Italy and Germany have been sniffing around and it is only a matter of time before he leaves, the UK paper reported.
