A newly-revamped website hamkhoone.com looks to facilitate the house-hunting process for users. According to the local tech website webna.ir, Hamkhoone, meaning roommate in Persian, is the first domestic website which allows users to search for a home, a dorm or a roommate. Users can also use the website to post an ad; and all services are free of charge. Due to the fact that some people had in the past created problems  for users of the website, Hamkhoone faced legal and security issues and was on the verge of shutting down. The revamped version seeks to reduce future problems as the developers have increased security measures on the website and introduced stronger privacy policies. Android and iOS applications will also be released soon, according to the company.
