A domestic company has produced a cartoning machine that can handle fragile products and speeds up the packaging process in industries.
The cartoning machine or cartoner picks up a flat carton (known as a blank), erects it into a rectangular shape, arranges the products, places the product into the carton (or fills it through a vertical flow) and closes the carton by using glue or sticking an adhesive tape on the fold-over lid.
“The cartoning machine can pack more than 10 cartons per minute,” Babak Fard-Sadeq, a member of the Board of Directors of Bahrevar Machine Alborz Company, told the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology.
“The cartoner arranges the products in the desired shape and quantity for loading by using the transfer arm that also picks the arranged bundles and puts them into the carton,” he added.
