A knowledge-based company has developed a production planning system that can help improve productivity by reducing costs and time for manufacturers.
In every industrial unit, planning is at the heart of production process, according to the vice-president of San Oaj Pouyan Spadana Company.
“The coordination of different units, including sales and production, implements of production, planning and designing the work agenda are among the missions of a production planning unit. Their correct and timely implementation requires a comprehensive system that can be used to make plans based on the organization's information. The domestic production planning system can be used for this important task,” Vajiheh Shakeri was also quoted as saying by the news portal of Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology reported.
“The domestic production planning system performs project management and process design to keep track of a project's progress and schedule to achieve a reasonable economic balance among the three factors of cost, time and quality during project execution,” she added.
The system facilitates production planning and control, and product management throughout the process from ideation to production, along with strategies such as product improvement.
The company’s vice-president said the planning and execution of systems, design and improvement of material transportation systems to achieve maximum efficiency can be undertaken by the production planning system.
“Optimizing a plan and determining the production strategy, making changes in the way the processes are carried out to maximize profit and minimize cost and time, designing and determining the appropriate production line, selecting the most effective order of arrangement and coordinating the equipment used in a production unit to achieve maximum efficiency is also made possible by using the production planning system,” she added.
Shakeri stressed that the company has been effective both in reducing costs and creating more jobs, which is very important in the current economic situation.
Software Helps Online Businesses
A knowledge-based company has designed a software that helps manage customers’ messages for social media-based businesses.
Most e-businesses need to respond to user feedback efficiently to increase customer satisfaction and boost revenues.
“The knowledge-based product of this company meets the need of cyberspace businesses for harnessing messages and user feedback,” said Mojtaba Bazazan, CEO of Asr Fara Ertebat Company, while referring to the design and development of the software.
Its "Reply" program helps users categorize and tag all customer comments and questions with complete security. It defines access for each page manager and facilitates feedback management.
All e-commerce operators can use it to boost professional sales and increase customer satisfaction.
Due to the complex programming used in the software, the product has no domestic rival and can easily overshadow foreign counterparts that are not suitable for the Iranian market.
The process of designing and programming Reply took about 7,300 man-hours of specialized work and created direct employment for 10 people.
The program can be used free of charge for users with fewer direct messages and the cost of using the software is based on the number of administrators.
Statistics show that about one million Persian pages are earning incomes through cyberspace, of which at least 200,000 small- and medium-sized businesses and about 500,000 provincial and local businesses are active on Instagram.
All these businesses need a program like Reply to manage their online sales, as it provides the infrastructure for managing the high volume of customers’ requirements.
Multitasking Paperless Recorder
A domestic knowledge-based company has designed and produced a paperless recorder with a price advantage over foreign counterparts.
Arman Fara Pajoohan Company’s CEO Somayeh Khademol-Hosseini explained that the paperless recorder could record, store and analyze all types of signals and data for an unlimited period of time, the news portal of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology reported.
“All the recorded information can be seen on the recorder’s screen and by connecting a USB drive, users can take a backup in the Excel format. Therefore, all the information and data recorded by the device can be transferred to the computer,” she added.
Khademol-Hosseini noted that as the recorder supports all commonly used mathematical functions and formulas, users can write a program for this recorder and customize the device as per their business needs.
“Admin users can change the device’s accessibility level that specifies which users can change and have new settings, or use different features of the device in a company,” she added.
The possibility of reviewing the recorded data and information, writing formulas and complex equations to process signals, and the ability to display graphs digitally are among some of the most important features of the domestic paperless recorder.
Also, the possibility of connecting it to various types of thermocouples and devices that measure thermos-resistance, milliamperes, voltage, frequency and resistance, that protect electromotors, transformers and turbines, and devices that display, record and control industrial processes, is among other capabilities of this device.
The CEO of the knowledge-based company said the measurement of fluid flow, conductivity and oxygen using zirconium oxide sensors and linearization of non-linear sensors are also possible with this reorder.
Khademol-Hosseini explained that the domestic recorder is about 150 million rials cheaper than foreign counterparts, while providing the same features, capabilities and experience to users.
The company has created about 20 direct jobs, in addition to indirect employment.
“Meeting domestic needs was the company’s most important achievement after the production of this device,” she said.
