A knowledge-based company has developed a platform for organizing virtual fairs that significantly reduce exhibition costs.
The platform allows exhibitors to present their latest products and services virtually to a wide range of visitors from around the world.
“The virtual exhibition provides visitors with a variety of video clips, photo galleries, textual information, infographics and a variety of catalogs and brochures for download,” said Nasser Mahmoudi, the CEO of JAPCO Company, which designed the virtual platform.
Visitors easily access all its offerings with just one click on their computer or mobile phone, the news portal of Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology reported.
The platform allows business owners to use the latest multimedia information technology for displaying their products and services widely and indefinitely without any time and place restrictions and cost burden.
Exhibitors don’t have to bear the heavy cost of renting a space, hiring equipment, transportation, decoration, printing and advertising in virtual exhibitions.
For developing this platform, a team of six, including user interface designers and programmers, collaborated with the company.
The virtual exhibition allows more customers to attend a fair and records all the activities of visitors for exhibitors. Also, the exhibition can be hosted for a longer period and allows better interactions with other participants and visitors.
Other advantages of this product include a separate panel for pavilion owners to manage their content more effectively, as it can be easily modified and updated.
All these benefits have helped different industries to significantly increase their sales and profits.
Business owners can buy an annual package to prevent the outflow of currency (about $1,000 per pavilion) and benefit from the domestic model with more capabilities.
Foreign models vary, based on the features they offer exhibitors and the length of time business owners can use the platform, which costs approximately $150 per month.
Mahmoudi noted that all the features and capabilities of this web-based system are coded, which this makes the product capable of customization and upgradation.
"No ready-to-use module has been used in the development of the virtual exhibition platform," he said.
Speedy, Error-Free System for Dividend Distribution
A domestic knowledge-based company has designed a system for speedy corporate dividend distribution without human error.
“This system connects the company and its shareholders, allowing the shares to be deposited in shareholders' accounts without the intervention of human resources,” Abbas Talib, CEO of Arvand Hammers Group, said.
In the past, companies distributed dividends manually in capital markets and stock exchanges. Calculations were done through manual files and profits were transferred to the shareholders' accounts.
However, currently, the full customer information is registered in Sejam (Comprehensive Customer Information System). By linking up with the distribution system, which has already calculated the dividend, profits are deposited in the shareholder’s account in a snap.
The system prevents human errors and facilitates the prompt payment of dividends to shareholders.
The programming, implementation and support service of this system is completely handled by the company’s domestic workforce.
Currently, 10 employees are working directly and 25 indirectly with this company.
Higher Security to Computer Networks
An Iranian knowledge-based company has developed a system that provides higher security to organizations and offices using a large computer network compared to foreign counterparts.
Sepehr Hashtroudiler, CEO of Ideh-Sazan Novin-e Danesh Ertebat Company, said a large number of people working in an office require a wide range of network equipment.
The CEO noted that the Privileged Access Management [PAM] system authenticates users working in large networks.
As controlled access to internal or external interactions is a major concern of large organizations, security becomes a key issue.
PAM is an information security (infosec) mechanism that controls users’ wide range of access to the organization’s network while safeguarding the identity of users with special access. Like all other infosec solutions, PAM works through a combination of people, processes and technology.
In order to create a secure platform for authorized access to network services and resources, and by considering different levels of confidentiality, this product provides access to network resources to admin users so that all activities are recorded and even automatically warns of activities that users should avoid, which could be risky or harmful for the organization.
Using a one-time password, token, dedicated login system, monitoring user activities, executing commands on each device or in groups, sharing documents and preventing system messing are among the product’s several features.
User access management based on time and the ability to extract statistics and offer reports are other features of this product.
East Azarbaijan Telecommunications Company is currently using this system.
Hashtroudiler said the software supports all brands and systems in a completely web-friendly way, while allowing to search for history and compare backups.
In this knowledge-based company, six employees are working directly and six others are involved indirectly.
