Industrial drugs are responsible for 25% of homicides in the country, said Alireza Jazini, deputy secretary general of the anti-drug trafficking headquarters. “In the past 10 months, security forces have seized 1700 kg of crystal meth and destroyed 230 meth laboratories,” Alef News Agency quoted him as saying. Crystal methamphetamine is just one form of the drug methamphetamine which is illegal and is in the same category as cocaine and other potent street drugs.
