With the implementation of the plan to combat Tehran’s rat menace, 164,000 rats and mice were eliminated over the last 9 months. During the period, 123 squads comprising 700 people were sent to the streets with the highest rat population including the routes between Rah-Ahan Sq. and Vanak Sq., Azadi Sq. and Imam Hossein Sq., Sepah Sq. and Shoush Sq., Tajrish Sq. and Seyed Khandan Bridge, and also Sattarkhan, Keshavarz and Shadmehr streets, Fararu News Agency reported.
