Karaj Municipality Improves Public Transportation System

To improve the rickety public transportation system in Karaj, the capital of Alborz Province, Karaj Municipality has bought 200 new buses from Oghab Afshan Industrial and Manufacturing Company, 30 of which were delivered on Wednesday. 
The agreement was signed last December with the major bus maker in Semnan Province. 
Each bus costs 15 billion rials ($115,000), making the purchase worth 3 trillion rials ($23 million) in total.
