Plans for Easy Access to Medicine

The ministry of health is pondering ways to facilitate people’s access to hard-to-find medicines. Head of Food and Drug Agency (FDA) Dr. Rasoul Dinarvand said the plan is especially aimed to promote justice for people living in remote areas, reports ISNA. While it is not possible to provide equal access to all medicines in all regions of the country due to shortage of doctors and pharmacies, “we will be working to launch facilities in towns that will supply medicines for terminal illnesses, removing the need for the sick to travel to major cities to obtain their medicines,” he added.
