Minister of Interior Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli has issued a directive allowing new Scania buses to be registered. During a recent visit to a Scania bus factory in the central province of Semnan, Rahmani Fazli commended the manufacturers and workers saying “they are a source of national pride,’’ ISNA reports. It may be recalled that Scania intercity buses were discontinued after several incidents involving the buses led to fatalities in many instances.
