In his latest comments regarding the food poisoning case at an Advocacy Center for the Mentally Disabled which caused three fatalities, Rehabilitation Deputy at the State Welfare Organization Yahya Sokhangooei said although it has been determined that the food was spoilt, “it cannot be said that the 3 deaths are directly related to food poisoning.” Quoted by ISNA he said the deceased had “a weak immune system due to their consumption of certain drugs which made their death by poisoning more probable.” However, they are awaiting the official report of the Medical Examiner in the incident.
