Experts have begun work to determine medical tariffs for the next calendar year (beginning March 21). The planning deputy at the Medical Council said all the tariffs including the cost of routine doctor visits and other medical services and hospitalization will be announced for 2015-2016. Mohammad Jahangiri quoted by ISNA said strict monitoring of tariffs which is part of the Health Reform Plan has been supported by the medical fraternity at large. Meanwhile, he said, the hotline 1690 is still operating to receive complaints or reports of misconduct.
