The Civil Servants Pension Organization is seeking to lessen its reliance on government as part of its goals in the Sixth Five-Year Economic Development Plan (2016-2021). The head of the organization said offering new and satisfactory services to retirees, who are mostly from the public sector is also one of its priorities, ISNA reported. Mahmoud Eslamian added that the organization “aims to focus on its past experiences so as not to repeat old mistakes.” Saying that at present there are financial concerns, he hoped that “with the wisdom of experts, social security will be promoted and enhanced in the coming years.”
