The Social Security Organization is studying ways “to make retirement plans more versatile and efficient.” Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabeie said that one of the first programs “is to synchronize all the insurance policies mandates and this will soon be announced to related organizations,” ISNA reported. Another initiative, he said is to create a special savings package, so all Iranians can have increased purchasing power later in life. He added since all the people cannot afford social security insurance, a plan is being launched to offer affordable insurance to all.
