Seven new police stations will be added to the capital’s police centers. Crime Prevention Chief Col. Mohsen Khancharli said among the 84 police stations operating in Tehran, 65 are owned by the Police Department and the rest are rented. Khancharli added that most of the crimes are reported between 4:00 pm and 11:00 pm with altercations, theft and accidents topping the cases.
