Up to 8 million people have so far received national Health Insurance coverage. President of Iran Health Insurance Organization Anooshiravan Mohseni said one million applicants are also waiting in the line for their coverage process to complete, ISNA reports. Mohseni added that most of the people who have been covered are from the weaker sections living in “economically challenged” neighborhoods.
