A senior adviser to the head of Iran’s Red Crescent Society, Mohammad Taqikhani, has said that a “special university” of the International Red Crescent and Red Cross Society will be established soon in the country. In times of natural disasters, the Iranian Red Crescent Society provides the first and immediate aid to the affected people, and “the society’s work should be improved and enhanced in terms of capabilities and facilities it uses,” he said, quoted by Mehr News Agency.
