The pilot plan of giving more authority to the pharmaceutical community has begun through the Medical Council. A member of the Board of Directors at the Association of Pharmacists said with the Medical Council taking charge of pharmaceutical affairs, the association is now active in issuing licenses in some provinces, ISNA reported. Hamid Kheiri added that the Medical Council is optimistic about delegation of authority so as “to hold communities themselves accountable for their actions.”
