According to the new safety regulations, the inspection of private and public vehicles will be conducted every year, and trucks, every 6 months. Director of the Supreme Council of Traffic Mehdi Yadi said “older cars will be subject to shorter periods of inspection” adding that vehicles henceforth will be monitored by surveillance cameras as well as police officers, ISNA reported.
