A hybrid bus has been added to the Tehran transportation fleet and an additional four will soon be provided, head of the Tehran Bus Company Peyman Sanandarji, said quoted by MNA. The problem with hybrid buses, however, is supplying the appropriate fuel for these vehicles. The main problem with the existing fleet is that the buses are old; 200 run-down buses are still plying, he said, and urged for government support to replace the old transport vehicles.
