The national plan for the management of blood use will be launched soon. The director of the Blood Transfusion Organization said “blood use in the country is inefficient and therefore the plan is aimed to promote its optimal clinical use.” Dr. Aliakbar Poor Fathollah said with its launching, “the pattern of blood use in the country will go through a dramatic overhaul.”
