The budget of the Department of Environment (DoE) has increased by 20 to 25 % in the next year (starting March 21, 2015), said Saeed Namaki, consultant at the DoE. “In spite of the financial crunch, the DoE budget has increased, which indicates the government’s resolve and special attention to environmental conservation,” IRNA quoted him as saying.
