Expired Medicines  ‘Safe’ in New Drugs

As it is a common practice for pharmaceutical companies to make use of expired drugs in new medicines, the head of the Scientific Association of Pharmacists allaying concerns said the practice “is completely safe if it is approved by either the health ministry or the company’s laboratory quality control.” Hamid Khoei quoted by ILNA said “this is a scientific practice causing no harm and it is common around the world.”
