People worldwide are celebrating Christmas by decorating trees, singing carols, attending church, and exchanging gifts and greetings among other traditions.
Iran, for its part, has sent its best wishes to the world’s Christian community by extending congratulatory messages through its officials on this joyous occasion which marks the birth of Jesus Christ.
Today, there are at least 600 churches for 250,000 Christians in Iran. President Hassan Rouhani wished the Christians across the globe a New Year full of peace and tranquility. Financial Tribune also wishes its readers a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
