Chicken paste is not harmful and it is allowed to be used in ground meat products, Mahdi Khalaj, head of Iran Veterinary Organization (IVO), was quoted as saying by IANA. Earlier, chicken paste was banned as there were reports of its sub-standard quality.Khalaj said following a meeting with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Iranian National Standards Organization (INSO)” we came to a common understanding and agreement on the matter.”
