An amount of $17 million has been allocated for improving the management and productivity of tea farms in the country, Mohammad Vali Ruzbehan, head of Iran Tea Organization, was quoted as saying by Iranian Agriculture News Agency. Also the revival of 5000 hectares of abandoned tea farms is on the organization’s agenda, he added.
