Women and Production Expo

The 11th exhibition of ‘Women and National Production’ began on September 13 and will run until September 22 in Tehran’s Goftogoo Park. Organized by the Office for Empowerment of Female Heads of Households, the expo showcases handicraft and apparel made by more than 3,000 women, ISNA reported. Tehran Mayor Mohammad Ali Najafi attended the inauguration ceremony on Wednesday and said  the exhibition can help promote the role of female heads of households. The Office for Empowerment of Female Heads of Households, affiliated to Tehran Municipality, has more than 26,000 women under its umbrella.
