Retirees to March

The Social Security Organization of Iran has planned a nationwide walk program for retirees to mark the National Day for Families and Retirees on September 16. It will be held in designated areas across the country and the retirees covered under the SSO pension program are invited to participate, head of SSO’s retiree affairs department, Hossein Shahverdi said, IRNA reported. The Social Security Organization has about 42 million beneficiaries, of which nearly three million are retirees. In Tehran, the walk will be held in Velayat Park, located at the end of Navvab Highway on the southern side of the capital.
