Barcode for School Vehicles

All vehicles taking children to and from school will get barcode stickers to enable their tracking, ISNA reported. The barcode stickers enable the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization to monitor the location, movement and speed of the vehicles, a member of Social-Cultural Committee at Tehran City Council, Hassan Khalil-Abadi said. Drivers will also be tested for mental and psychological health before being granted a special permit. In Iran school buses are very rare as minibuses and private taxi companies usually provide transport to school students.
