There has been a 7% drop in the number of road accidents in the current year (started March 21), according to the traffic police chief. The decline in accidents has resulted in 900 fewer fatalities from road crashes compared to previous figures, Brigadier General Eskandar Momeni said, reported ISNA. “This is the result of cooperation of all related organizations,” he said, and hoped the downward trend would continue.
