A parliamentary inspection committee is due to release its latest investigation report on the Forests, Range & Watershed Management Organization (FRWO). Ali Iranpour, vice chairman of the committee said the investigation “was done with due precision and consistency,” ICANA reported. He said the reason of the probe was due to large-scale “destruction of forests and soil erosion and degradation, as well as the increase in landslides in recent times.”
