A specialized hospital opened in Isfahan on Monday in a ceremony attended by Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi. Established over 50,000 sq meters, the 11-floor Milad Hospital has wards in emergency, laparoscopy, endoscopy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, brain surgery, heart surgery, internal surgery, ICU, CCU, NICU, CT Scan and MRI, IRNA reported. Around 6 trillion rials ($157.8 million) were spent on building and equipping the hospital. With a population of 2.2 million, Isfahan is the third most populous city in Iran after Tehran and Mashhad.
