Some 297 new vans have been purchased and added to Iran’s Social Emergency Services fleet. “The request for the vehicles was made three years ago, but we only recently received them” Hossein Asad Beygi, head of SES, told Mizan News Agency on Monday. Purchasing and equipping each van cost one billion rials ($26,000). More vehicles will be purchased as soon as funding is available.
