Three people were killed and 35 were injured when a bus overturned on the Sharoud-Sabzevar Highway in the early hours of Friday morning. The incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m., according to Hassan Nouri, deputy head of Iran’s Emergency Medical Services. “Nine ambulances were deployed to the site and all the injured were transferred to Imam Hussein Hospital in Shahroud,” ILNA quoted him as saying. Two passengers died at the crash site while one was pronounced dead at the hospital. Three of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
