The Iranian Society of Clinical Oncology is holding a workshop to train nursing staff about chemotherapy on Aug. 15-16 in Tehran’s Fayazbakhsh Hospital.
Nurses from Tehran and other provinces will attend the workshop, according to Mahnaz Ilkhani, the organizer of the event.
“The workshop aims to enhance nurses’ knowledge of chemotherapy and familiarize them with new oncology methods,” she said, Mehr News Agency reported.
ISCO holds intensive training courses for nurses twice a year in cancer-related areas, such as emergency oncology and caring of malignant wounds.
