Two people have gone missing following severe flooding in the northern province of Golestan on Thursday, according to Shahin Fathi, deputy head of operations at the Iranian Red Crescent Society. According to a report on the society’s website, three individuals were in a car that was hit by flash floods and washed away in Aliabad County. On Friday, rescuers found the body of a 35-year-old woman which identified as one of the passengers. The other two are still missing. Thirteen teams have been deployed in Golestan to aid the search-and-rescue operations.
