New Hospital in Abhar

A 235-bed hospital was inaugurated in Abhar, Zanjan Province on Wednesday in the presence of health and urban development officials. “The government plans to open 30 hospitals across the country by the end of the current fiscal in March 2018,” Mohammad Jafar Alizadeh, deputy minister of roads and urban development, told reporters on the sidelines of the opening ceremony, ILNA reported. The Alghadir Hospital has been built on a land area of 17,500 sq meters. Around 450 billion rials ($11.9 million) was spent on the construction and equipping of the medical facility.
