A team of doctors from the Noavaran-e Salamat Charity Institute has been stationed in Khodabandeh County of Zanjan Province since July 27 to offer free medical services. So far, 780 people have been examined for eyesight conditions , 1,800 received dental treatment and 90 free eye surgery. Some 160 eye patients received eyeglasses and 22 people were referred to medical centers in Tehran, Borna News Agency reported. Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi is also part of team and conducted 12 eye surgeries in Garmab village. The team will continue to offer free medical services in the region until September 22.
