Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province has been struck by 78 earthquakes of varying sizes in the first quarter (March 21-July 21) of the current year, according to the head of the provincial Seismology Center. “The strongest were 3.3-magnitude quakes that struck Boldaji (May 14) and Gandoman (May 16),” Hassan Mir Ahmadi told ISNA. Boldaji was again jolted by a 3.3-magintude earthquake at 10:27 am on Tuesday.
