Teachers teaching multi-grade classrooms should undergo 40 hours of additional training to prepare them for the job, elementary education deputy at the ministry of education said. Mohammad Dimevar said there are currently 52,000 multi-grade or composite classrooms across the country with students from more than one grade level, and the need to be taught by the same teacher often arises. Special books will also be published to guide the teachers who mostly work in remote villages, he said, quoted by ISNA.
