There will be a pay hike for conscripts from the next calendar year (starting March 21, 2015), the human resources deputy at the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces announced. Brigadier General Mousa Kamli quoted by ISNA said “annual pay increase for conscripts is required as per the law and it will be proportionate to the pay increase for government employees.” Any increment in government salaries will also apply to conscripts, Kamli added.
