The minister of education said the education budget has seen a 23% increase for the next calendar year. Aliasghar Fani said “if some other articles of the budget law are passed by the MPs, there will be a bigger increase in budgetary allocation for education,” ISNA reported. He added that despite the shortage of teaching staff, the ministry’s priority is to improve the quality of academic services.
