Iranian, Finnish Universities Agree to Cooperate

The chancellors of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences met with their counterpart at Finland’s University of Tampere in Tehran on Sunday to discuss plans to expand academic cooperation. A memorandum of understanding was signed by Ali Jafarian of TUMS and Ali Asghar Payvandi of SBUMS, and Liisa Laakso of University of Tampere. Based on the agreement, the Iranian universities agreed to exchange professors and students as well as know-how with the Finnish university.
