Research Facility

Shahid Beheshti University’s Science and Technology Research Center launched a new research clinic on Saturday that will “develop a link between medicine, engineering and other fundamental sciences.”

The facility will create an opportunity to test new technologies in a clinical environment before placing them before the medical community.

Medicine cannot be separated from other sciences and the clinic will enable doctors to be in close and constant touch with engineers and experts in other branches of science,” said Mojtaba Zare’ei, a cofounder of the facility, IRNA reported.  

The university’s Science and Technology Research Center was established last year with three departments of nuclear technology in medicine, biomedical engineering and clinical research.
