The minister of sports and youth affairs said a proposal for the bifurcation of youth affairs and sports has been sent to the presidential Supervision and Strategic Planning Office and “most of the officials seem to agree with the move.” Mahmoud Goudarzi quoted by ISNA said “if the proposal is approved by the presidential office it will be determined whether the bifurcation will require new legislation or it can be acted upon through executive power.”
