Children’s Diagnostic Imaging Center

The first comprehensive pediatric diagnostic imaging facility in the country will open next week at the Children’s Medical Center located in Tehran’s Enqelab St., said Reza Shervin, head of the center, on Wednesday. With its kid-friendly environment, the facility has been designed to relieve children’s fears over long or complex screening. Advanced equipment to achieve the best images with the lowest radiation dose will be used at the facility. MRI, ultrasound, X-ray services will also be offered, IRNA reported. The special facility ensures kids are relaxed during screening resulting in clearer images that better assist doctors in diagnosing and treating illnesses.
