The head of the Paramedic Medical Office at the ministry of health said since the launch of the Health Reform Plan (May 5), 454 patients have been transferred by air ambulance to hospitals. Dr. Hassan Noori Sari said prior to the plan, there were only 5 centers providing air ambulance services, but now the number has increased to 15. He added that 44 air ambulances are to be provided under the reform plan.
