2 Boys Die of Sunstroke in Sistan

Two youngsters died of sunstroke in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, said Mahmoud-Reza Naseh, director of Emergency Center at Iranshahr’s University of Medical Sciences, on Monday. Five 13-year-old boys were traveling from Chah Jangi Khan village to Maskotan village in a private car. When the car broke down, three of them decided to walk to their destination; but after several hours, two of them were found dead in the scorching heat. The third boy was transferred to hospital, the official said, IRNA reported. The temperature has crossed 50 degrees Celsius in some parts of the province. Both villages are located in Fanuj District in the eastern part.
