A recent report by Iran’s Legal Medicine Organization indicates that last year (ended March 20), 30% of all cases of injury examined by legal medical experts were due to street brawls. The report says the number of injuries caused by street brawls increases in summer. Last year, 547,029 cases of injury were examined at ILMO centers across the country, of which 161,151 (30%) had sustained injuries in summer, IRNA reported. During the period, Tehran, Khorasan Razavi and Isfahan provinces had the highest rate of street brawls, respectively.
